Pricing FAQ
What counts as an event?
Each AI API call your SDK sends to AISpendGuard counts as one event. A single event includes provider, model, token counts, cost, and your tags. Batch requests count as one event per item in the batch.
What happens when I hit my event limit?
On the Free tier, the ingest endpoint returns HTTP 429. Your dashboard remains fully accessible — you just can’t ingest new events until next month or you upgrade. On Pro, you’ll see a warning at 90% usage.
Can I switch plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you get the higher event limit right away. Stripe prorates the charge for the remaining days in your billing cycle.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet. We plan to add annual billing with a discount in a future update.
